What happens after I submit my application?

Your application will be reviewed upon submission. If approved, we will send a confirmation email and pair you with the watch in your first rotation. If we require more information to complete your application, we will reach out to you within 24 hours.

How long do I get to keep each watch?

You get to keep and enjoy each watch for ONE month. If you have a watch you are interested in, please let us know so that we can make a reservation for it. We’ll deliver the next watch after you return your current watch, and it passes inspection by our in-house team.

How do I cancel my membership?

You may cancel your membership at any time by contacting your account manager over the phone or by email. Please note: You MUST return your timepiece before any cancellation will be approved. Early cancellation of your subscription is non-refundable.Your account manager’s details can be found in your membership portal.

What is the schedule of payments for an Specter One membership?

Once your membership application is approved, we will charge a security deposit equal to your approximately 10% of the watch value. That security deposit will be returned at the end of your initial term or anytime you end your membership thereafter. The charge for your first month’s membership will be incurred when the timepiece delivers (typically the following day), and all subsequent monthly charges will be scheduled on the same number date.

An example: Your membership is the enthusiast tier at $199/month (Up to $8,000). Your application is approved on 1st July, and you are charged $800 for your security deposit on 1st July. Your timepiece is sent out on 2nd July, and you are charged $199 for your first month’s membership fee on 2nd July. The next charge you incur is for your second month’s membership fee, which is on 2nd August.

How do I measure my wrist/how do I make sure the watch will fit me?

You will be prompted to input your wrist size in millimeters at the end of the application process. If you are unsure of your wrist size, you will be able to download and print a wrist sizing tool on the page that confirms your application submission. If you do not submit your wrist size during this phase, we will send you an email upon approval prompting you to submit your wrist size.


What is required to become a member?

All applicants are required to submit your application form when completing the online membership application. Please note that additional information may be requested based on your timepiece selection.

Do you run a background and/or credit check?

We run a “soft” credit check (does not impact your credit score) to determine your membership eligibility when you apply to become a member. For timepieces above $15,000 in value, a hard credit check may be required. If a hard credit check is required, we will notify you and obtain your written approval prior to conducting the check.

How long until I find out if I have been approved?

All applications are reviewed within one-two business days. If there are any additional requirements, we will reach out to you immediately in an effort to complete the approval process as soon as possible.

What happens after I am approved?

Once approved, you will receive a confirmation by email. We will then pair you with the first timepiece in your rotation, bill your security deposit, and introduce you to your account manager. The next step will be to ship your first timepiece.


What methods of payment are accepted?

We accept all major debit and credit cards, Bank transfer, & PayNow. We do not accept prepaid cards.

Is there a security deposit?

Yes. Once your membership has been approved, you will be charged a security deposit approximately equal to 10% of the retail price of the timepiece. That security deposit will be returned to you at the end of your membership, or anytime you choose to cancel thereafter. If you cancel your membership prior to starting, your security deposit will be refunded back to you.

Does Specter One sell watches?

Some of the timepieces in our collection are available for purchase and rental, please contact your Account Manager to find out more. However, if you have any timepiece you’re interested in, feel free to contact us and will source them for you.

Warranty on watches we sell?

Every timepiece sold by Specter One is covered by our world-class warranty for one (1) year from date of purchase, which covers movement defects and labor, unless otherwise stated. Movement damage from excessive wear and tear and physical damage is not covered.

Do I get box and papers for timepieces I purchase?

First-hand timepieces sold by Specter One comes in an Specter One box with our warranty paperwork. The original manufacturer’s box and original paperwork may be substituted for the Specter One packaging when available. The original manufacturer’s box and paperwork are not always available for all timepieces, as some watches were purchased pre-owned without one or both. If there is ever an instance where we do not have box and papers for a specific model, we will alert you well in advance of any purchase.

How do I pay for my watch? Are there any additional costs?

Specter One accepts personal check, money order, major credit card or wire transfer. Depending on your location, taxes may apply. There are no additional costs or fees above the price quote, except for any applicable Goods and Services Tax.

Do you offer financing plans for watch purchases?

No, we do not currently have any financing plans for watch purchases.

Can Specter One source a new watch for me to purchase?

Yes. Specter One has relationships with authorized dealers, wholesalers and distributors, and can source nearly any new timepiece. Please ask for a quote and let our expert buyers find the timepiece of your choice. Please note—Specter One Loyalty Points cannot be used toward the purchase of a watch outside of our Collection.

Do we buy watches from customers?

Yes, we do buy timepieces from our members, partners and other individuals. Share your collection with us and we will make a reasonable market offer on most luxury timepieces. Members can also participate in our Watch Lease program.

How do we source our watches?

Specter One Pte. Ltd. acquires timepieces from a number of different sources including authorized dealers, wholesalers, distributors and individuals.

How often do we add to the collections?

Our watch experts continuously search for the finest timepieces to add to our extensive collections and add pieces on a regular basis. We always listen to feedback from our community and are expanding and adjusting the collections based on market conditions and member feedback.

How do we ensure watches are real and authentic?

Our team of industry experts and master watchmakers with decades of experience. Every timepiece acquired is inspected by our expert team, every time a watch enters and leaves our facility, both internally and cosmetically, to ensure authenticity.

What type of maintenance and inspection process do you have?

Before a timepiece can be sent to any of our members, it must pass an extensive series of tests to ensure that the movement is running within original manufacturer’s specifications. The case and bracelet/strap are polished and cleaned to pristine condition. This process is repeated after each and every rotation to ensure the timepiece looks its best and runs on time.


Are my timepieces insured throughout my membership?

Yes. All timepieces are insured. However, once the watch is delivered it becomes your responsibility! should a watch be damaged, a full investigation is required. Direct losses is not covered. If a timepiece is stolen from you, you must obtain a police report within 24 hours of the incident and inform us immediately.
